MARCHMONT AND PEVERIL SECURITIES ACQUIRE 3 ACRES IN ZONE 3, LONDON.

Marchmont Investment Management, in partnership with Peveril Securities has bought an urban logistics investment in Sydenham for c. £10m. Let to Clarkes Coaches (a subsidiary of National Express PLC), the site is used as a service yard for their coach business servicing the local community. The property is situated within the established Kangley Bridge Road industrial area in Sydenham, one of the main industrial destinations in South London.

James Rodwell, Associate Director at Marchmont, said: “We are delighted to have secured another off-market investment in a Greater London location. The investment is entirely aligned with our strategy to secure assets in urban locations where the supply and demand imbalance is particularly acute.”

Christopher Kirkland, Peveril Securities, says: “We are very pleased to have secured this site in Sydenham. The location offers easy access into Central London and is surrounded by densely populated, affluent London boroughs, thereby offering future potential logistics occupiers the perfect opportunity to ‘shorten the last mile’ over the long term. We look forward to working with Marchmont over the coming years to deliver this exciting project”

Marchmont and Peveril Securities were advised by Cogent Real Estate and Savills.
