Alex is an EA, responsible for the smooth running of the office and co-ordination of all events at Marchmont. Alex has significant experience in the role having previously worked in similar organisations in the sector.
Anju is the Finance Manager, responsible for all financial aspects of the Marchmont business. Anju previously held senior finance and accounts roles, most recently in the food and distribution sectors.
Cameron is head of Fund Management. Cam started his career with ING (NZ) Ltd in 2001 before moving to the UK in 2003 joining CBRE and later CBRE Global Investors. Following this, he was a Director of Property at Nuveen and Head of Balanced Funds in the UK property team. Prior to joining Marchmont, Cameron was an Associate Partner at Brockton Capital responsible for the origination of opportunistic projects in the UK.
Hanna is an investment analyst, responsible for assisting the team in underwriting new and existing investment opportunities. Hanna started her career at ICAMAP, where she gained experience with targeted investments across Europe in real estate and development.
Jack is an Investment Analyst, responsible for assisting the team in underwriting new and existing investment opportunities. Jack started his career at MCR Property Group in the acquisitions team where he was responsible for sourcing and analysing investment and development opportunities on a wide range of asset classes.
James is a Director, responsible for deal origination, fund management and structuring. James previously worked at Goldman Sachs JBWere, based in New Zealand, managing multi asset portfolios for UHNW individuals and institutions. Thereafter, he moved to the UK in 2017 where he spent a year in a capital advisory role to a real estate development company.
Julian is head of Asset Management, responsible for overseeing the underwriting and execution of all asset management initiatives. Julian started his career at Gerald Eve in 1999 he then moved to the Investment team at Matthews & Goodman. Thereafter, he joined Catalyst Capital LLP in 2003 where he focussed on the intensive asset management and UK element of Catalyst’s first Pan-European Fund.
Kate is a Development Manager, responsible for providing strategic advice on development sites and project co-ordination. Kate is also Marchmont’s Head of ESG and is responsible for driving the ESG and sustainability strategy across Marchmont’s Investment, Asset and Development operations, as well as Marchmont’s own ESG policies. Kate started her career at JLL in the Development and Capital Markets team. Thereafter she joined Gerald Eve, responsible for providing strategic development advice to a wide range of clients.
Nick is head of Development Management. Nick started his career in investment teams with Chesterton and BNP Paribas Real Estate. He then moved into development, working for Northridge Capital and Investra Development, delivering in excess of £500m GDV of developments across the student, BTR, office and industrial sectors.
Phil is an Asset Manager, responsible for executing asset management strategies and support in the acquisition and disposal of assets. Phil started his career with King Sturge/JLL before joining Cushman & Wakefield in the office agency team. Thereafter he joined the Business Space Asset Management team at LaSalle Investment Management managing a varied portfolio of office & industrial assets.
Tim is an Asset Manager, responsible for executing asset management strategies and supporting the acquisition and disposal of assets. Tim started his career at Workman LLP, managing commercial assets on behalf of institutional clients. Thereafter he joined Petchey Holdings, a privately owned property company specialising in the industrial and logistics sector, where he was involved in asset management across their portfolio in the South East.
Tim founded Marchmont in 2011 and is responsible for overall business and investment strategy.
Tim started his career in 1999 with BNP Paribas Real Estate, working in Edinburgh, London and Paris in the investment and development funding teams. In 2006 Tim joined SG Commercial where he advised private and institutional clients, including Tritax on investment acquisitions and disposals. In 2008 Tim joined Tritax as a Fund Manager working on UK and European investment strategies.
