Kate has been appointed as Marchmont’s first Head of ESG. Kate will be responsible for driving the ESG and sustainability strategy across Marchmont’s Investment, Asset and Development operations. Kate’s role will also include setting and implementing the business’ corporate standards and overarching approach to ESG.

In her continuing role as Development Manager, Kate will be responsible for ensuring Marchmont’s development schemes across all our developments are best in class. Kate will work closely with an integrated project team to ensure our developments are aligned with sustainable priorities so that they are resilient to future climate change impacts.

Kate’s appointment underlines the business’ commitment to sustainability, and has come at a time when sustainability in the built environment is a critical priority. Marchmont recognises that putting ESG factors at the forefront of our strategy will enable returns that encompass both environmental and social value, as well as financial.
